At this point, the whole design project team should have a project debrief, to review what went well, what could have been done differently, and to pull out lessons learned. If it is not possible to transition a design team member, then the person who will be doing the major CA on the project should be included in this meeting, to get a debrief on the project itself to help them moving forward.
